Antwerp has a relaxed, multicultural atmosphere with many cafés, student bars, and cultural events. Locals are friendly but exchange students tend to stick together, forming a strong international community. Easy to travel to nearby cities like Brussels, Ghent, or Amsterdam.

Start looking for housing early, as prices can rise quickly. Most courses are well organized and similar to UZH in structure. Balancing the exchange with a remote bachelor thesis is doable. Take time to explore the city and join international student activities.
